Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund eligibility, where allowed, is based on whether WVISA delivered the purchased service as described. Refunds are not based on whether a customer believes an environment later remained secure, became insecure again, or was described as "cleared" at an earlier point in time.

One-time services

Because WVISA services are digital, customized, and capacity-reserved, one-time service purchases are generally non-refundable once work begins. Work begins when WVISA reviews intake, validates scope, prepares the engagement, schedules a session, launches a scan, or generates any report or deliverable.

For self-service paid downloads, work also begins when the tier-locked download grant is issued or redeemed. If WVISA cannot provide a working download package due solely to a WVISA delivery fault, WVISA may provide a corrected download, alternate delivery method, rescheduled service, or refund for the undelivered service.

If you need to reschedule, contact WVISA at IndependentJoel@gmail.com. WVISA may allow a reschedule at its discretion if work has not substantially begun and if operational scheduling permits.

If WVISA is unable to deliver the purchased service solely due to WVISA's fault, your exclusive remedy is either a rescheduled service or a refund of the amount paid for that specific undelivered service.

Monthly add-on subscription

The WVISA Ongoing Monitoring add-on renews automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time by emailing IndependentJoel@gmail.com from the account associated with the subscription and requesting cancellation. Cancellation stops future renewals only and does not refund prior charges or partially used billing periods, except where required by law.

Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback, you agree to contact WVISA at IndependentJoel@gmail.com to allow WVISA an opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.

Service-specific notes

• Proof of Concept and Starter Scan are digital assessment services and become non-refundable once intake review or execution begins.
• Standard Review, Premium Deep Review, and Small Business Security Review may reserve additional delivery capacity and are non-refundable once preparation, scheduling, or execution begins.
• The $20/month Ongoing Monitoring add-on cancels prospectively only unless applicable law requires a different result.
